Methotrexate and Mouthulcers?

I have been taking Methotrexate in combination with Cyclosporine for about 10 years, but have in the last year or so noticed a huge increase in mouthulcers - up to a dozen at any one time. I do take folic acid every day other than the MTX day, but that doesn't seem to help the mouthulcers much anymore either... have tried Corsodyl etc but not noticed a huge impact. The Rheumatologist suggested I might consider Methotrexate injections - Does anyone know if the mouthulcers get any better when changing to MTX injections?

Hello I was riddled with mouth ulcers taking methotrexate tablets but since self injecting methotrexate have not had one. Well worth a try. Good luck Rosie Rosie
